Or nearly! :) Some overseas websites have the book for sale and I have managed to secure the early release of the copies I've ordered for sale on my website. You can click here to buy a signed copy, or if you don't want to buy it from me the book is available worldwide - however only in English at this point, sorry about that for those asking.

You guys, this is my favourite book ever. EVER.
I am so excited with how it's come out. This is a book I had the idea for so so long ago, and I haven't been able to make it come to fruition for one reason or another, until now. To begin, I chose 9 antique quilts from the American Folk Art Museum in New York. Each quilt has been reinterpreted in modern fabrics, and then each quilt also has a Modern quilt pattern to go with it. There's also a little bit of historical info that goes with each antique quilt, and the information about the original maker, where is was available.
Over the next few days and weeks I will be sharing with you some of the ideas behind the book and the quilts, both old and new.
We will go behind the scenes at the photo shoot- where my awesome photographer Sue Stubbs and I went, the house we used for the pics and the beautiful old town that is the backdrop to the book.
Some friends and I will go on a blog tour late in October, where they talk will about their favourite antique quilts and how they are relevant to today's quilters.
AND I will be giving you a few pieces of really fun and exciting news, running a competition and a whole lot more! Hooray for new books :)
Meantime if YOU already have your copy of Old Quilts New Life, make sure and post a pic on Facebook or Instagram, tag me and #oldquiltsnewlife and let me know what you think, I would LOVE to hear from you.
Happy Saturday everyone!
