Join the 2022 BOM along!

For the last few years I've been asked whether I was ever going to run certain BOM programs again - and the answer was always no.

 

This year though the answer is YES! It's THE WORLD'S GREATEST BOM ALONG!*

*disclaimer - may not actually be the worlds greatest. You decide.

 

 

Essentially, instead of there being a new BOM design next year, every single one of my previous Block of the Month programs is available! That's NINE quilts to choose from! (Never fear, there will be a new design for 2023 - this is just year of Greatest Hits).

 

There's a lot to unpack here, so please make sure to read everything carefully so that you sign up for the right thing. There’s even an option to play along on a BOM program you started already when it was the BOM for year, or through one of my BOM books. All the details are here.

 

Options galore - you choose! 

New BOM website

Hi guys! If you’ve been to the BOM website in the last few days you will have noticed our new format! Everything has been redesigned so it’s fresh and pretty for the 2022 programs to launch on November 1. If you hop over there right now you will get a tiny sneak peek of what the three 2022 programs might be!

 

 

 

If you are a BOM member, to log in to the website you can just click on the menu in the top right-hand corner as usual, OR you can scroll down and find quick links to everything. Simply click on the program you want to access, log in and you’re there!

 

The new BOM website for 2022 is also going to feature links directly to a brand new chat room, that’s off Facebook and completely private for my programs. You will be able to go to the chat page to talk to each other, post your work and ask me questions, directly from the same place as your videos and patterns.

 

Pop over and have a look! I’d love to know what you think. My shop website is also having an exciting facelift that will be live for November 1.

Growing Wild and A Little Wilderness books now available!

They’ve been a looooong time coming- Covid and illness and shortage of inks and a bunch of other things has meant these are much later than expected. But they’re finally available!

 

The Growing Wild and A Little Wilderness books are for sale at my website. If you are in the USA, UK or Europe, the books ship relatively locally which saves you on postage. Both books come with full size templates and full video instructions.

Although my instructions are all for hand needleturn appliqué, the templates are absolutely suitable to machine appliqué OR to make the skirt in wool or felt!

Vote in the Online Quilt Hanging!

The 2021 Online Quilt Hanging is finally open for voting! If you have entered a quilt, please take a look at your submission and make sure that it has the right name etc. on it. If you don't see your quilt and you know you have entered it, please let Damian know by email at [email protected] and we can get that fixed up for you.

The voting will remain open until Monday March 14 at 5pm Sydney time. We will then take a few days to judge our own choice and count the votes from the public, and announce the winners on Friday, March 19.

The Best in Show prize this year is a pack of beautiful threads, sponsored by my peeps Aurifil thread. The runner-up prizes are beautiful FQ bundles, sponsored by the lovely people at Windham Fabrics, and the Judge's Choice prize is sponsored by beautiful Robyn at The Strawberry Thief.

The rules

If you haven't ever seen my Online Quilt Hanging comp before, the rules are simple. You can enter ANY quilt made using one of my Block of the Month program patterns, from any year. The quilts don't need to be quilted - they can be quilt tops but they must be finished tops. There are over 65 entries this year of all different patterns! It's exciting to see them.

The fabric labels for the Growing Wild and A Little Wilderness quilts are now available for sale! These are inkjet printed onto white cotton, ready for you to stitch to the back of your 2020 BOM quilt.

 

 

 

 

Fabric labels for ALL the other BOM quilts are also still available. $7 domestic or $10 international, includes postage and a postcard. You can find them all in my shop.
