If you already know about Alice Caroline and her delicious online shop, then you will be looking forward to this pretty book already! If you don't then you are in for a treat.
Alice Garrett is based in the UK and her shop sells a wonderful range of Liberty fabrics, packs and notions. AND she has just published her first book using all Liberty prints.
Little Lady Liberty (if you are in the USA this book is called Sew Pretty for Little Girls) has 20 pretty and simple projects especially for little girls - although who amongst us doesn't covet a Liberty pencil case or floor cushion? It's beautifully photographed with loads of pics of Liberty prints so it's a delight to thumb through.
The projects are very simple so this book would be ideal for a beginner, and even for stitching with children. With school holidays coming up in Australia, think keeping the girls busy! There are unfortunately no little girls in my house - however I do have several delicious little nieces and I think one in particular would love one of these.... (the other two are a bit too old for dollies!)
And I just love this curtain. Perhaps my studio needs some butterflies....
You can grab yourself a signed copy of Little Lady Liberty here from Alice herself, and perhaps pick up some Liberty bits and pieces to go with it. And you can pop over to Stitch, Craft, Create to see the full line up for the blog hop - make sure and have a tour around because some copies of the book are being given away! You can also have a good look at Alice's blog for some information on the pencil case and the scrap bags she has made up so you can piece one for yourself. Have fun!
