So many things going on around here. I know I've been away a while but thankfully Erica has been looking after you beautifully - did you love her post as much as I did? Such fun.
So what have I been doing then? Well over the next few weeks I will be able to tell you some of the things I've been up to, but right now I can show you a few sneak peeks from the first shoot for my new book, which took place on Monday.
The trusty Sherpa and I took off for the Southern Highlands, about an hour outside of Sydney, with the wonderful and oh so talented Sue Stubbs, who you all will know from the devine photography in Quilting: From Little Things.
It was a beautiful day in the Highlands, the sun was shining and there was a lovely little breeze lifting the corner of the quilts as we shot.
We had some fantastic help in the form of Bolt the wonder dog. You never know, Bolt might turn up in the book somewhere.
I would LOVE to show you some more, I really really would. But you're going to have to wait until the book comes out - which seems so far away it doesn't even have a proper name yet! But rest assured it will be out in April 2013, all ready for you to snatch up, name and all. More sneak peeks and exciting news coming soon, watch this space.

Ooh, it'll be out right in time for my birthday next year! How convenient :) Love the little sneak peeks. Can hardly wait to see the book.

ACK, a whole year? Love your quilts and know it will be worth the wait.
Bolt looks like a really happy dog and should definitely be in the book!
