Look, look! Here's Quilting: From Little Things, making it first appearances in the shops! How exciting.
Here it is in Berkelouw's Bookshop in Newport Beach, NSW, and here at Mary Ryan Bookshop in Milton, QLD.
Cute display! If you see Quilting in your local bookshop, make sure and email me a pic and tell me where it was, and I will send you a fat 8th of From Little Things. Blog about it and I'll send you a FQ! You can't go wrong there :)
The weekend here in Sydney saw the weather finally turn towards Autumn. I am so sick of the humidity, it was wonderful to have soup for dinner and snuggle under a quilt. My quilts did double time on Friday too - first one baby:
(this is Wednesday - isn't she devine??)
and then another had a snooze on my couch quilt.
Remember falling asleep on the couch watching a movie with your mum? He's so sweet. Off to the couch again, I'm finishing some hand applique for some classes I'm going to be teaching at Calico and Ivy in Balmain next term. Anyone want to come along?

I would love to! When is the Calico & Ivy class Sarah? NOthing on their website yet and you know how far ahead you need to plan these things when you're a busy mum ;-)

I would love nothing more than to be there, but it would take a long time to get there. Love all the sitings and especially the book display.

Wednesday is just gorgeous, and so is the quilt she is laying on - is that in your book? Love the fabrics in it.

Hi Roberta! No, that one is actually a Kaffe Fassett quilt - I call it my Election quilt because I pieced it in front of the last Federal Election :)

Hi Lorena - I don't have all the dates yet but as soon as I do I will post them to the blog! There is a beginners class, a class in quilts from the new book and a Wagga (wool quilt) class.

Hi there,
well done on the book. I am currently making one of your beautiful quilts for my daughter Isabella. It is the one you had up for mother's day in the women's weekly. I have acknowledged you (and your beautiful pic) on my (newish) blog. I will have to send you a link (if you are interested) when I have finished it! Suz www.sewpony.blogspot.com
